How Does a Family Shoot Work?
A family photography experience with Ben begins with a brief consultation. During this discussion, we'll talk about where the shoot will occur, what you need to prepare for, and other details about the shoot. On the day of the shoot, you'll be confident and comfortable knowing what to expect.
During the shoot, Ben will gently direct you and your family into poses, and also creating opportunities for moments of candid spontaneity. There is an energy flow between a photographer and his subjects, and Ben infuses it with positive, happy energy. f you have ideas for the perfect family photo, Ben will help you make it happen!
After the shoot, the images will be carefully reviewed, picking the best 10%. These 'keeper' images will be individually processed; cropping, balancing, touching up any distracting elements, then processing them with Hollywood-class image enhancement tools to infuse character and personality. You'll receive three different processing variants of the images too; Ben's trademark color and black and white looks, and a creative look utilizing analog film emulation techniques.
Finished images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery, typically within 10 days. At that point, you can purchase prints, files, canvas, or choose from many other high-quality print products.

Family photography sessions are priced based on three factors: Shoot Duration + Shoot Location + Product
Duration
- 1 Hour (Popular) : $
149$99 - Each Additional hour: +$69
For family photography, most families book a one hour shoot. Book more time if you wish to try multiple outfits and/or locations.
You will receive at least 30 finished photos per hour of shooting
Location
- Most Locations: No Fee*
- Private Photo Studio : $100 first hour, +$50 each additional hour
- Travel: Travel charges apply on locations more than ten miles from zip 80227.
*Occasionally, some locations charge a photography and/or admission fee, which is the responsibility of the client.
