Benjamin Skigen: Denver, Colorado Event Photographer
Event Photography Overview
Why Invest In an Event Photographer
You've spent months, or maybe all year planning your big event. Then, on the big day, it's a whirlwind of activity. So much is happening that, in the moment, it's difficult to stop and take in all the details you've put so much thought into!
When you have great photos of your event, you will be able to relive the successful event over and over again. Remember how great the centerpieces came out? The decor on the stage? Remember how fun that one couple was ? Or the feast which was served? With great event photography by Benjamin Skigen, you'll be able to enjoy the results of your hard work for years to come.
My Approach to Event Photography
It's always an honor to be chosen as an event photographer. I take my roll as a professional seriously and with proper gravity.
Artistically, my approach to event photography is candid and photojournalistic. I use a variety of high-definition lenses, lights, and other professional equipment to capture a variety of looks and perspectives in order to retell the story of your event in compelling detail.
How Event Photography Works
On the call, we'll discuss your event plans and expectations for photography.
On the day of the event, I will chronicle the event in a candid, photojournalistic style. I'll make sure to capture the big moments, such as performances or recognitions.
After the event has ended, I will go through the raw images and pick the best. Typically, less than 10% of images will make the final cut. These chosen images will each be individually hand-refined to balance levels, adjust crop, and correct problems. Some of the best images may be processed using Hollywood-class editing software to infuse character and style, for a variety of aesthetic looks.
Once this process is complete, I will deliver a private online gallery containing all of the finished images. If you pre-purchased any print credit or downloads, it will be available to use; you may order prints or download files right from the gallery system. If you didn't preorder prints or files, you can also purchase them directly from the gallery.
Second Shooters Available
A second shooter will double the amount of shots and add additional perspective. Via my network of associate professional photographers, I will manage the entire photography team for your event.
