How Does a Model Portfolio Shoot Work?
A model portfolio photography experience usually consists of meeting at a location such as a park, your home, or a private studio. There, Ben will direct you into poses, and also create opportunities for moments of spontaneity. Of course, if you have a vision for a portfolio concept, Ben is always happy to help achieve your vision!
As a professional photographer, Ben will always work to your comfort level, which will be discussed ahead of the shoot.
After the shoot, Ben will go through the images, pick the best shots (guaranteeing at least 15 'keepers' per hour of shooting), crop and balance each shot, touch up any distracting visual elements, then process them three different ways: color, alternative color, and monochromatic.
The finished images will be delivered to you via a private, password-protected online gallery, typically within 1 week. At that point, you can purchase files or prints
Retouching Available
Light retouching is included with all model portfolio photography. Got a pimple? Wish your teeth were a bit whiter? Spot on your collar? No worries, those will be fixed for you for no extra charge.
For an additional fee, optional advanced retouching services are available. From skin-quality enhancement to the glamorous magazine-quality retouched look, we can create the aesthetic you want!

Portraits & headshot photography sessions are priced based on three factors: Shoot Duration + Shoot Location + Product
Duration
- 30 Minutes: $119
- 1 Hour (Popular) : $149
- Each Additional 30 Minutes: +$50
You will receive at least 30 Photos per hour of shooting
Location
- Most Locations: No Fee*
- Photo Studio : $100 first two hours, +$45 each additional hour
- Travel: Travel charges apply on locations more than ten miles from zip 80227.
*Occasionally, some locations charge a photography and/or admission fee, which is the responsibility of the client.
